Algeria will celebrate tomorrow, Tuesday, March 19, the 62nd anniversary of the Victory Day. On this occasion, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune addressed a message to the Algerian people in which he particularly emphasized the need to “unify ranks” and “strengthen the domestic front.”
In his message, the President recalled that the celebration of the Victory Day comes at a time of regional and international instability that requires “the combination of efforts of everyone to unify the ranks and strengthen the domestic front.”
To overcome the challenges facing Algeria, A. Tebboune mentioned “preserving the stability enjoyed by the Algerian people, in an environment marked by tensions that threaten peace and security in the region, and in a world plagued by conflicts, struggles, and complex polarizations” as a top priority.
Tebboune also paid tribute to all citizens, members of associations, and actors of civil society for their “high national conscience.” He also praised the National People’s Army (ANP) and security forces for “ensuring tranquility and serenity in society.”
In conclusion of his message, President Tebboune expressed his respect for the memory of the martyrs of the National Liberation War.
