ALGIERS, March 10, 2024 – The General Directorate of Civil Service and Administrative Reform announced on Sunday the working hours applicable in public institutions and administrations for the month of Ramadan.
According to the statement, the working hours applicable in public establishments and administrations during this month are set from Sunday to Thursday as follows.
For the southern wilayas, namely: Adrar, Tamanrasset, Illizi, Tindouf, Béchar, Ouargla, Ghardaïa, Laghouat, Biskra, El Oued, Timimoun, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Ouled Djellal, Beni Abbes, In Salah, In Guezzam, Touggourt, Djanet, El M’Ghair and El Meniaa, the working hours will be from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
For the other wilayas, they are set from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, the same source adds. The General Directorate of Civil Service emphasizes that the usual working hours will resume after the celebration of Eid El Fitr.
