Algerian nationals stranded in Gaza organize a protest in front of Al-Najjar Hospital to demand the intervention of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to evacuate them from Gaza, as the Israeli war against civilians continues.
Indeed, several Algerian nationals are currently stranded in Gaza due to the closure of borders and escalating tensions in the region. They are living in difficult conditions and fear for their safety as violence continues to escalate.
Faced with this precarious situation, the Algerians stranded in Gaza have decided to organize a peaceful protest in front of Al-Najjar Hospital to draw attention to their situation and ask for the intervention of Algerian authorities. They hope to be safely evacuated and reunited with their families in Algeria. The protesters (including many children and women), equipped with their Algerian passports and flags, called on President Tebboune to intervene on their behalf and help them leave Gaza. They expressed their distress and despair over the current situation and called for immediate action to ensure their safety and well-being.
Furthermore, the situation in Gaza has become increasingly concerning due to the escalation of violence by Israel against civilians. The indiscriminate bombings have caused numerous casualties among the civilian population, sparking a wave of outrage and condemnation internationally.
Faced with this humanitarian tragedy, many voices have risen to denounce Israeli atrocities and call for an end to hostilities. International organizations, governments, and political figures have expressed their support for the civilians in Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire to end the violence.
The toll of Israel’s genocidal aggression against Gaza has risen to 29,782 martyrs and 70,043 injured since October 7, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday, February 26. According to the same source, the Israeli occupation forces have committed 10 massacres in the past 24 hours in Gaza, resulting in 90 martyrs and 164 injured.
In conclusion, the Palestinian Ministry of Health also stated that a number of Palestinian victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, and that the occupation forces are preventing ambulances and civil protection teams from rescuing them.
