Sonelgaz announces the suspension of disconnections for unpaid bills during the holy month. A gesture of solidarity to ensure a peaceful month of fasting for everyone.

The national electricity and gas company, Sonelgaz, announced on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the suspension of electricity and gas disconnection procedures for its customers in difficulty during the month of Ramadan.

This decision aims to ensure a smooth running of this holy month under the best possible conditions.

In its statement, Sonelgaz asserts that it has taken all necessary measures to ensure a quality public service and a continuity of energy supply.

However, the company encourages customers who are able to pay their bills to do so through its commercial agencies or via the various electronic payment methods available, in order to avoid the accumulation of debts.

Sonelgaz has also mobilized its teams responsible for bill collection to install carbon monoxide leak detectors on meters, in order to expedite this operation and ensure the safety of citizens.
