Algeria Telecom signs an agreement with AADL to deploy fiber optic in new urban neighborhoods.
Algeria Telecom announced today (February 18, 2024), from its official Facebook page, the signing of an agreement with the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL), in the presence of the CEO of Algeria Telecom, Mr. Adel Bentoumi, and the General Director of AADL, Mr. Fouad Mokrani.
The purpose of this agreement is to connect the various new urban neighborhoods under construction as well as future projects to a high-speed and very high-speed internet network.
The objective is also to improve the living environment in AADL sites by connecting them to the internet via fiber optic, ensuring that these housing units are equipped with this technology before being handed over to citizens.
This agreement will:
– Accelerate the launch of commercial activities in AADL sites by providing them with high-speed and very high-speed internet.
– Strengthen the dynamics of local economic development.
This strategic partnership is part of the national plan for digital development in Algeria and reflects the commitment of both parties to contribute to the improvement of citizens’ living conditions.
