Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belabed, announced at a national conference in Algiers the opening of schools to students during the first week of the upcoming spring break, scheduled for March 21. This initiative aims to allow students to revise their lessons together and prepare for exams in the third trimester and end of year.

A meeting was held at the ministry headquarters with central and local sector officials to follow up on preparations for the national seminar on digital transformation and the International Day of Mathematics program. The evaluation of second trimester academic results was also discussed.

The minister ordered the organization of scientific events in all wilayas of the country to celebrate the International Day of Mathematics, in addition to a grand ceremony organized at the central level. These actions are in line with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s commitment to valorize mathematics and scientific subjects.

Belabed praised the positive results achieved by his department during the second trimester. He also ordered an increase in inspection visits to schools during the final trimester. These actions aim to ensure regular monitoring of the situation in schools and guarantee a better quality of education.

In conclusion, these initiatives of the Ministry of National Education aim to strengthen student learning, promote scientific subjects, and ensure a better quality of education in Algeria.
