On the occasion of the Night of the Sighting, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments has just announced the sighting of the crescent moon, confirming the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan in Algeria in 2024, starting tomorrow, Monday, March 11.
Indeed, the National Commission for the Observation of the Crescent Moon has announced that the month of Ramadan for the year 2024 corresponding to the year 1445 of the Hijri calendar will begin tomorrow, Monday, March 11, 2024 in Algeria.
According to the statement from the National Commission, this announcement comes after the observation of the crescent moon of Ramadan was established this evening on the Night of the Sighting.
It is worth mentioning that the National Commission for the Observation of the Crescent Moon met this Sunday evening at Dar El-Imam Sidi Abderrahmane At-Thaâlibi in Mohammadia (Algiers) on the Night of the Sighting to determine the first day of the month of Ramadan 2024 (1445 of the Hijri calendar).
