DGI, Thursday, March 28, 2024 – The General Tax Directorate (DGI) issued a statement on Thursday informing all Algerian motorists of the extension of the deadline for paying the 2024 vehicle registration sticker until April 30th.
“The General Tax Directorate informs the owners of tourist vehicles, utility vehicles, and passenger transport vehicles who have not yet acquired the vehicle registration sticker for 2024 that the legal deadline for acquiring this sticker has been extended until Tuesday, April 30, 2024,” the DGI stated.

It should be noted that the obligation to acquire the vehicle registration sticker does not apply to tractors and other agricultural machinery, two-wheeled vehicles (motorcycles), public works vehicles, and trailers.
