Algiers, March 27, 2024 – The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, announced on Tuesday the launch of two new digital platforms dedicated to students.
The first one, called “inchighalati” انشغالاتي, aims to address students’ concerns regarding accommodation, dining, and scholarships. The second one, a digital incubator “الحاضنة الرقمية”, aims to encourage entrepreneurship and technological innovation in the university environment.
Mr. Baddari emphasized the university’s commitment to the digital revolution, with the launch of 54 platforms to meet the needs of teachers, students, and workers, and to transition from paper to digital.

The first digital incubator in the Maghreb region will allow students with innovative ideas to transform them into start-up projects and contribute to wealth creation.
The incubator will support students in evaluating the feasibility of their ideas, transforming them into marketable products, creating work teams, and finding expertise and funding.
The platform “Inchighalati”, dedicated to the 440,000 resident students, aims to simplify, monitor, and promote university activities.
It will allow students to file complaints regarding the quality of services, such as issues in transportation. The platform adopts an investigation system to address students’ concerns.
The launch of these digital platforms is part of the ministry’s strategy to modernize the educational system and adapt it to the requirements of the 21st century. They are a valuable tool to improve communication between higher education stakeholders and to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
