In Algeria, the EDAHABIA card has become an indispensable tool for the daily management of finances. Launched for the first time in 2016, the card has been very successful with Algeria Post customers.
With more than 14.5 million users, this card allows its holders to withdraw money from all Algeria Post ATMs and interbank networks, pay for purchases at merchants with electronic payment terminals (TPE), transfer money from one CCP account to another CCP account, and check the account balance.
The card also allows users to geolocate Algeria Post ATMs across the national territory. But what happens when you forget your EDAHABIA card? You want to withdraw money for a third party? Or maybe you are out of the province and need money urgently without your physical card?
No need to panic! Algeria Post has set up the CARDLESS service, an innovative system that allows you to withdraw money from your CCP account without a card, in just a few clicks, from your smartphone. Discover how CARDLESS can simplify your life, even in emergencies or when you are far from home.
First, download the BaridiMob application from Google Play or the Apple Store. Install it on your smartphone or tablet, then log in using your credentials.
Once the application is downloaded, open it. You will see that the interface is intuitive and user-friendly. Now, to access the CARDLESS service, you need to click on the “Cardless Transaction” button.
If you are using this service for the first time, a blank page will appear. Select “New Transaction” (represented by the “+” button at the bottom of the screen).
Now proceed with setting up the CARDLESS Transaction:
– Choose the source of your transaction (your CCP account).
– Select the type of withdrawal (cardless withdrawal at ATM).
– Enter the expiration date of the transaction (make sure it is within 6 months).
– Set the transaction limit amount (Algeria Post limits this operation to 20,000 DA for the security of its customers).
Click on “Generate” to proceed with generating this transaction. A detailed page will appear, showing your choices (operation number, chosen withdrawal amount, expiration date of the CARDLESS service, withdrawal number). Verify that all data is correct, click “Done,” then “Validate.”
You will receive a real-time SMS on the mobile number associated with your BaridiMob account. This will contain the transaction number and the PIN code for the operation.
Now you are ready to use the CARDLESS service to withdraw money without a card from EDAHABIA ATMs. Remember to keep your PIN code secure!
The withdrawal of the money from the EDAHABIA ATM:
Now that the operation is scheduled, approach the ATM of your choice. Select the “cardless withdrawal” option on the ATM screen. Enter the withdrawal operation number you received via the BaridiMob CARDLESS service.
Enter the PIN code (secret code) received by SMS and confirm the operation. Finally, collect the withdrawal amount that you previously ordered and programmed.
You are now ready to use the CARDLESS service with ease! Remember to keep your PIN code secure.
Note that the CARDLESS service is only available on Algeria Post ATMs.
