The National Office for Pilgrimage and Umrah (ONPO) announced on Sunday (May 17, 2024) that citizens wishing to perform the Hajj this year and register with the office must open accounts on the Algerian portal for Hajj and Umrah.
Account openings will begin on Monday at 10:00 via this link. This registration is mandatory for all participants wishing to travel with the ONPO. The online registration process will allow you to:
– Create a personal profile
– Choose the travel package
– Pay the corresponding fees
ONPO reminds pilgrims to register within the specified deadlines and to follow the instructions given on the portal. It also emphasizes that online registration is the only method of registration accepted for Hajj 2024.
ONPO has kicked off Hajj 2024 for Algerians by setting the date of the first flight on May 20, 2024. This important date marks the beginning of the pilgrimage for the country’s faithful.
