The President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday, dedicated to presentations related to several sectors, according to a statement from the Council of Ministers.

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers dedicated to presentations on the status and indemnity regime of specific bodies in the national education sector, the progress report on the digitization strategy, the new mission of what was called “pilot farms,” the strategy of the hydraulic sector on drinking water and wastewater, and an assessment in preparation for the 2024 Hajj.

The President instructed the Minister of Religious Affairs to ensure optimal preparation for the Hajj. On this occasion, the President decided that the transport of pilgrims residing in the South and the far South to the airports for departure to the Holy Places in the various wilayas will be the responsibility of the State.

What about the presentation on the status and indemnity regime of specific bodies in the national education sector?

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune ordered the presentation to be postponed and the study to be deepened, in order to improve its content, taking into account the fact that the teacher is an educator before being a civil servant. It is also important to define priorities, according to a modern vision that places the qualitative education of future generations at the heart of concerns.

In conclusion, the President instructed to further examine offers and proposals that serve the education sector, away from any calculations unrelated to the educational field.
