The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications announced on Monday the launch of a national campaign to promote e-commerce and electronic payments. The main objective of this initiative, which will continue until March 7, is to encourage the adoption of electronic payments by merchants and citizens.
According to an official statement, this campaign aims to familiarize users with the principles of online commerce and encourage them to use it in compliance with the law. It will also provide advice to raise awareness among citizens about the risks associated with online purchases and protect them against commercial fraud.
Key partnerships and program of this campaign
It should be noted that the campaign will be carried out in collaboration with various institutional partners, including the National Observatory of Civil Society, the High Youth Council, and several ministries, including Finance and Commerce.
Financial institutions such as SATIM and GIM, as well as telecommunications sector players, will also participate in this initiative. The program will include a wide range of activities such as conferences, workshops, study days, exhibitions, and media broadcasts.
