Last night, 03/14/2024, a crucial technical meeting was chaired by the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, marking a decisive step for the launch of the AADL 3 project. Held at the headquarters of the National Housing Bank, this meeting addressed the essential preparations to welcome this ambitious project.

This meeting concluded a series of meetings involving central directors, the general director of the AADL Agency, and officials in planning, architecture, and construction from all the provinces of the country. A collaborative effort to refine the details of the AADL 3 project.

Minister Belaribi emphasized the importance of constant coordination with local authorities and governors to ensure the smooth progress of the project. He stressed the need to identify all real estate sites before launching the subscription to the AADL 3 program, drawing on lessons learned from the AADL 1 and 2 projects.

Field visits are planned to assess the legal and technical situation of potential sites and their suitability for the AADL 3 program. Measures are also being taken to prepare property contracts for selected sites.

The minister gave directions to adapt the program to 58 provinces, based on availability, and to locate all the sites necessary for the realization of the AADL 3 projects.

Another meeting is scheduled to present the newly implemented digital platform and to address the urban planning and architectural aspects of the AADL 3 project. Additionally, a meeting is planned to review associated legislative and regulatory texts.

The project of the Housing Improvement and Development Agency is shaping up to be a major turning point in housing policy in Algeria, promising to effectively address the growing housing needs and contribute to the urban development of the country.
