An atmospheric disturbance is about to disrupt weather conditions in northern Algeria starting from Sunday. According to digital weather forecasts, this disturbance is expected to bring sometimes significant precipitation to the regions in the west and center of the country.
From Saturday until Sunday, the sky is expected to be generally clear to partly cloudy. However, from midday on Sunday, dense clouds will begin to form, signaling the imminent arrival of precipitation.
These rains will mainly affect the western wilayas such as Sidi Bel Abbès, Saïda, Oran, Mostaganem, Beni Abbes, and Béchar.

The rainy front is expected to progress towards the central regions on Monday morning, intensifying thereafter. By Monday afternoon, it will reach the wilayas of Algiers, Médéa, Tipaza, Béjaïa, Tizi Ouzou, Relizane, Blida, Médéa, Chlef, Tiaret, Sidi Bel Abbès, and Djelfa.
Alongside this precipitation, temperatures will remain above the seasonal average during Saturday and Sunday, reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius in some coastal regions.
However, with the arrival of the atmospheric disturbance, temperatures will gradually decrease to return to levels more in line with seasonal norms at the beginning of next week.
During these few days, it is important to prepare and be ready to adapt travel plans accordingly.
