On the occasion of the Night of Doubt, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs has just announced that Wednesday, April 10, 2024 will be the date of Eid al-Fitr for this year, confirming that the sacred month of Ramadan 2024 in Algeria will be 30 days long, with the last day being Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Indeed, the date of the Eid al-Fitr feast of Ramadan 2024 has been officially announced by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs. After the impossibility of observing the moon with the naked eye on the “Night of Doubt” on Monday, the Ministry confirmed Wednesday, April 10, 2024 as the date of Eid al-Fitr for this year.

Furthermore, it should be noted that the National Crescent Moon Observation Committee met on Monday evening on the occasion of the Night of Doubt to determine the first day of the month of Shawwal (1444 of the Hijri), which corresponds to the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
