Weather forecasts predict a tumultuous start to the week in northern regions. Starting from Monday, intense weather disturbances are expected, bringing heavy rains and snowfall, persisting until Thursday.

Indeed, starting tomorrow, Monday, a low pressure system will bring thunderstorms in the western, central, and eastern regions, with localized precipitation between 40 and 60 mm. These forecasts also predict snowfall, mainly along the coasts.

Then, from Tuesday onwards, the weather disturbances will continue with snowfall expected in the western, central, and eastern regions, especially in the interior mountainous areas.

Furthermore, the regions affected by these heavy rains and likely to experience heavy precipitation include Sidi Bel Abbès, Saïda, Tiaret, Mascara, Tlemcen, Oran, Blida, Aïn Defla, Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, Djelfa, El Oued, Biskra, Ouled Djellal, Batna, Khenchela, Tébessa, Aïn El Beida, Souk Ahras, Constantine, Annaba, Jijel, Béjaïa, and Sétif.

What about the temperatures? Temperatures will be relatively cool along the coasts, colder on the plateaus and inland regions, while the south will experience hotter temperatures. Temperatures will range from 15 to 16 degrees along the coasts, 6 to 11 degrees on the plateaus and inland regions, and 18 to 27 degrees in the south.

In conclusion, it is worth noting that these forecasts predict rough sea conditions with waves of 2 to 4 meters. The national coasts will also experience strong winds exceeding 60 km/h.
