Tariki’s prevention advice in the wake of this incident
The Tariki page of the Algerian gendarmerie has published advice to prevent this type of road accidents, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, when routines are changed and can affect drivers’ vigilance:
– Sufficient Rest: it is crucial to have adequate sleep to maintain concentration while driving.
– Post-Iftar Caution: avoid driving immediately after Iftar, as the body may be less reactive.
– Avoid Pre-Iftar Rush: do not drive hastily in the last minutes before Iftar to avoid risky behaviors.
– Importance of Suhoor: do not neglect the Suhoor meal and make sure to hydrate properly.
These tips are also aimed at enhancing road safety and protecting the lives of citizens during this month where spirituality and well-being should prevail.
