The cultural event will take place in July at the auditorium of the second module of the Pierre-Savorgnan-de-Brazza Memorial.
The fourth edition of the “African Film Week” is being prepared. After Cameroon and Niger, it is the turn of the Republic of Congo to host this festival. This African cinema event aims to boost African cinema through training and valorization of African skills in order to build a competitive industry on the international level. In July, several actors from the 7th art will meet at the auditorium of the second module of the Pierre-Savorgnan-de-Brazza Memorial.
To prepare for this Pan-African cultural event, the representative of the festival in Congo-Brazzaville, Rama Aba Gandzion, went to meet with the director general of the Pierre-Savorgnan-de-Brazza Memorial, Bélinda Ayessa. The purpose of the meeting was first to seek the support of this cultural figure in the implementation of the project and also to request her sponsorship.
The holding of this event will showcase the tourist and historical side of Congo to other countries around the world.
