Address lingering kidnapping in Chikun, Kajuru LGA’s- CAN to Kaduna Gov

The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Chikun local government area of Kaduna State, Rev. Aminu Ayuka, has appealed to Governor Uba Sani to immediately take steps to address the lingering kidnapping ongoing in Chikun and Kajuru local government areas in the state.

Speaking to DAILY POST in Kaduna on Tuesday, he said that during the raining season, people were forced by bandits to cultivate their farmlands, stressing that the locals are also being forced by the bandits to harvest crops and hand them over.

He, however, noted that since the inception of the present administration in the state, kidnapping has drastically reduced but lamented that this year, banditry has resurfaced again.
