Ahead of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential primary scheduled for Monday, an aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, has explained why he is running for the presidency.

Hayatu-Deen said Nigeria deserves better.

In a statement he issued on Sunday, Hayatu-Deen described himself as the best candidate to become the ADC presidential candidate.

He said: “Our nation stands at a crossroads. Over the past three years, food and fuel prices have spiralled out of control, there are too few jobs, and our security crisis means Nigerians across the country live in fear.
