Famous Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has emerged the winner of Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency election.
DAILY POST reports that Dumelo, who contested on the platform of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, defeated the incumbent, Lydia Alhassan of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP.
He was declared the winner of the parliamentary election held during the country’s general elections on Saturday December 7 2024.
The actor won his constituency with 40,561 votes, while Lydia Alhassan polled 27,377.
