The latest FIFA ranking of women’s soccer consolidates Spain’s position at the top thanks to their recent title as Champions of the UEFA Women’s Nations League 2024. In terms of the CAF, the Lionesses of the Atlas show an increase of +2, placing them 3rd in Africa and 58th in the world with an improvement of 21.65 points (1411.58). This follows their successful journey in the qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympics. This progression could be further improved if they qualify for the final tournament in Paris next April after the double confrontation against Zambia, the 5th in Africa.
