Nigeria: PDP condemns impeachment plot against Fubara, Deputy — Africa Links 24

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has condemned the move to remove Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his Deputy, Ngozi Odu, from office.

The PDP Chairman in Rivers, Chief Nname Ewor, expressed the party’s disapproval at a news conference in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

Mr Ewor criticised Martin Amaewhule-led Rivers State House of Assembly for escalating political tensions with the impeachment plot, rather than pursuing peace.
