Ramadhan Mukira, a Kenyan, was on Wednesday, December 4, elected as the new President of the East African Law Society (EALS) at an event by the society in Uganda.
Mukira, a leading lawyer in the country beat his closest competitor, and former LSK President, Nelson Havi, by 273 votes to 139.
