The City of Windhoek has electrified 4 000 households in informal settlements over the past five years.

This was announced by Windhoek mayor Queen Kamati during the city council’s monthly meeting on Thursday.

“On the provision of basic services front, I am pleased to inform you that council during the past five years supplied electricity to about 4 000 households in Windhoek’s informal settlements,“ Kamati said.
