Guinea and Japan signed an agreement on Monday, April 15, 2024, for the construction of the Faranah Bridge, costing 18 million dollars

The signing of this financing agreement took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Guineans Abroad, in the presence of the Ministers of Infrastructure, Planning, and International Cooperation

The Guinean Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Morissada Kouyaté, expressed delight at this financing agreement aimed at rebuilding the deteriorated Faranah Bridge.

It is worth mentioning that Japan has undertaken several similar projects in Guinea, including the construction of the Kaka Bridge in Coyah and the Soumba Bridge in Dubreka.
