Anticipation is building within the Howard University women’s volleyball team as they prepare for their upcoming visit to Botswana and Zimbabwe from May 16th to May 27th. The team from Washington, D.C. has officially announced their foreign tour, during which they will engage in a variety of enriching experiences both on and off the court.
The Howard University Volleyball Programme will be participating in the Universities International Invitational Tournament organized by the Botswana Volleyball Federation, where they will compete against teams from Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, and Zambia. However, the team is particularly excited about their off-field tasks, which include community initiatives such as visiting schools and running volleyball camps to share their knowledge and experience with students.
This transformative foreign tour is an opportunity for the American college team to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
