The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has taken a significant step to alleviate the financial burden on pilgrims from the state by approving a 50% subsidy for the 2024 pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The subsidy amounts to N950,000 for each of the 1,652 intending pilgrims from the state, totaling N2.5 billion.
