The Chief of Fise, Alhaji Bukari Hamidu Kabore, displayed his generosity on Monday by donating various food items and a cash amount of GHc 10,000 to the Akprong School for the Blind. This act of kindness, which included bags of maize, rice, beans, sugar, edible oil, soap, and money, is part of his annual Ramadan tradition of giving to needy institutions.

Alhaji Kabore expressed his special connection to the pupils at the school and emphasized the importance of taking good care of them. He and his family personally gave money to each pupil, reminding them of the love that God (Allah) has for them.

During the visit, one of the pupils named Hamza showcased his recitation skills by reciting the Quran to the delight of the visitors and Muslim scholars who accompanied Alhaji Kabore from Accra. The Assistant Headmaster of the school, Mr. Gideon Doyi, conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Alhaji Kabore and his family for their generous donation.

“May Allah bless your heart and fulfill your heart’s desires,” Mr. Doyi expressed his appreciation for the support. He highlighted the importance of donations in ensuring that there is enough food for the children, emphasizing that contributions from Alhaji Kabore and others play a significant role in sustaining the operations of the school.

While acknowledging the efforts of the government in supporting the school, Mr. Doyi also emphasized that the school has numerous needs that require additional assistance from the public. He appealed to the public to support the school in any way they can to ensure that the children receive the necessary care and resources they need to thrive.
