Kenya: HELB Explains What Borrowers Should Do After Changing Their Phone Numbers

The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has issued new guidance to borrowers who have changed their SIM cards and can no longer access the board’s *642# USSD service.

HELB said affected borrowers can request an update of their registered phone numbers to restore access to its mobile services.

Borrowers experiencing the problem have been asked to share their National ID number and new phone number with HELB through its official communication channels for assistance.
