NDC alleges attack on members during Enugu grassroots meeting

The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has alleged that “state-sponsored thugs” attacked its members during a grassroots meeting in Obuoffia Ward, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The party made the allegation in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, Esq., while condemning what it described as an unprovoked attack on its members.

“This incessant assault on our members by state-sponsored thugs must stop,” the NDC said, insisting that it has a constitutional right to hold peaceful meetings and participate in the democratic process.
