Nigeria: Ododo’s reconciliation committee raises hope for Kogi APC unity

The reconciliation committee set up by Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has renewed expectations of greater unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

The 17-member Peace and Conflict Resolution Committee, chaired by former Governor Idris Wada, is mandated to identify grievances among party members, engage aggrieved stakeholders, and propose measures to resolve lingering disputes.
