The National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) project has warned youth against fraudulent online platforms claiming to offer access to its funding programmes.
In a notice obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, NYOTA clarified that the programme does not operate an application website or mobile app through which beneficiaries receive funds.
Payments are instead sent directly to the phone numbers provided by successful applicants for the relevant NYOTA programme.
