TVET Council approves 17 programmes, cautions institutions on accreditation

The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Council has approved 17 National Technician Diploma programmes for technical colleges and other institutions, paving the way for more students to acquire skills aligned with the demands of the labour market.

TVET Council Executive Director Moses Kasakya said the approved programmes cover mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering and information and communication technology (ICT).
