Kenya: Joho Forms Committee to Tackle Tata Magadi Dispute After Ruto Order

The government, through the Ministry of Mining and Blue Economy, has formed a high-level technical committee that will try to solve disputes arising from the closure of the Tata Chemicals Magadi Limited after President William Ruto’s Orders.

Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho said the committee will investigate some of the outstanding issues yet to be resolved before the suspension of the Company’s operations could be suspended.
