Kenya: Nairobi Expressway’s Mlolongo Exit Reportedly Blocked as Protests Erupt

Motorists using the Mlolongo Exit of the Nairobi Expressway were left stranded on Monday night after protesters barricaded the access road, preventing vehicles from leaving the expressway.

Preliminary reports indicate that the protests, which reportedly began at around 6pm and continued past midnight, were staged by a group of boda boda riders protesting the death of one of their colleagues.
