Namibia: Nandi-Ndaitwah mourns Tanzania’s first gentleman – News

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has extended Namibia’s condolences to Tanzanian president Samia Suluhu Hassan following the death of her husband, first gentleman Hafidh Ameir.

Ameir died on Monday at a Zanzibar hospital, where he received treatment for a heart condition.

Nandi-Ndaitwah said she was deeply saddened by the passing of Ameir, describing the moment as one of profound sorrow for the Tanzanian president, her children, and the bereaved family.
