Kenya: Politicians Must Give Police Up to 14 Days’ Notice for Rallies, NPS Warns

The National Police Service (NPS) has issued a fresh directive on political rallies, warning that it will strictly enforce provisions of the Public Order Act governing public meetings and processions going forward regardless of a person’s political affiliation or position.
