Libya: Deportation of 50 Sudanese Migrants with Infectious Diseases in Preparation for Their Removal from Libyan Territory

Benghazi – The Anti-Illegal Migration Agency announced it has begun deporting 50 Sudanese migrants from the Greater Benghazi detention center to the city of Al-Kufra. The agency said the migrants have infectious diseases. This is a step toward removing them entirely from Libyan territory.

The operation followed instructions from Major General Salah Mahmoud Al-Khafifi, the head of the agency, and was supervised by Major General Abdelali Suleiman, the director of branch administration.
