Kenya: Education Ministry Extends University, TVET Funding Application Deadline to 21 September

The Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for first-time university students and TVET trainees seeking government funding to September 21, giving eligible applicants more time to submit their applications.

In a statement obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba directed the Universities Fund and the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) to reopen the application period following concerns that some students had missed the original deadline.
