Namibia: Nust, TUN agree on 5% pay rise – News

Academic staff at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (Nust) will receive a 5% salary increase after the university and the Teachers’ Union of Namibia (TUN) reached an agreement.

The agreement follows salary and wage negotiations between Nust and TUN for the 2026/27 financial year.

The increase is effective from 1 January 2026 and will apply to permanently employed academic staff who fall under the bargaining unit.
