Nigeria: Okoya’s son quits music, gives reasons

Afrobeats singer Raheem Okoya, known as Siraheem and son of billionaire industrialist Rasaq Okoya, has announced he is stepping away from music, saying he can no longer balance the demands of the craft with his other commitments.

He disclosed this in a statement posted on his official Instagram page on Wednesday.

Siraheem said the past year had made it increasingly difficult to give music the attention he believes it deserves, forcing him to reconsider his place in the industry.
