Kenya: Voi, Konza, Bomet, Nyamira Among 11 Towns Targeted for New Rail Hubs

The Kenya Railways Corporation has named 11 towns set for commercial and logistic hubs along its railway corridors as part of efforts to transform railway infrastructure into economic centres.

KRC Managing Director Philip Mainga said the Corporation is pursuing the development of the hubs along both the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) and Meter Gauge Railway (MGR) networks, with 11 towns set to benefit from the move.
