Katsina State Government has intensified efforts to contain a fresh outbreak of diphtheria, with 67,670 eligible persons vaccinated within the first three days of a reactive immunisation campaign.
The government has also secured an additional 650,000 doses of diphtheria-containing vaccines to strengthen the emergency response and protect residents in communities considered to be at high risk.
