Massive celebrations are ongoing across the country as jubilant Arsenal fans mark what they describe as the end of 22 years of “starvation” after finally lifting the English Premier League (EPL) trophy.
Arsenal fans across Uganda dressed proudly in red and white jerseys and tops, with some even adorning cows in Arsenal kits. In towns and trading centres, excited supporters flooded streets, bars, and video halls, singing club songs, dancing, and blowing vuvuzelas on Sunday as they celebrated the end of a 22-year EPL drought.
