Kenya: CS Mbadi Criticised for Allegedly Omitting PAYE Reduction from 2026 Finance Bill

Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has come under sharp criticism over the absence of proposed Pay as You Earn (PAYE) relief measures in the Finance Bill 2026.

This is despite earlier expectations that salaried workers would benefit from lower PAYE tax deductions, especially the lower-income citizens.
