Kenya: KeNHA Reports Progress on Ksh 100B Isiolo-Mandera Highway, Sets January 2028 Completion Date

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued an update on the ongoing construction of the 740-kilometre Isiolo-Mandera Highway, reporting steady progress on key sections in Wajir County.

In its latest update on Thursday, May 7, KeNHA said the 57-kilometre Wajir-Tarbaj stretch, including a 2-kilometre spur into Tarbaj town, is currently 17 per cent complete.

At the same time, the 64-kilometre Tarbaj-Kotulo section is 30 per cent complete as construction works continue.
