Seven guns recovered as Busoga grapples with 45 robbery murders

Police in Busoga East have recorded 45 cases of murder resulting from shooting incidents and aggravated robbery in a period of one year.

The Deputy Regional Police Commander for Busoga East, SSP Hasunira Ahamedhi, said that since February last year, the region has registered disturbing cases of murder linked to shootings.

SSP Ahamedhi said police have recovered seven firearms suspected to have been used by criminals in committing murders.
