 Gambian authorities and tourism stakeholders on Wednesday welcomed the Italian leisure airline, Neos Air, as it launched its maiden direct flight between Italy and The Gambia.

The inaugural flight arrived at Banjul International Airport to a ceremonial reception attended by officials of the Gambia Tourism Board, Gambia International Airlines, the Gambia Civil Aviation Authority, Air Rep Services and other industry stakeholders.
